Cooper Young Festival – New Dog Bow Ties!
Every year in Midtown Memphis, the coolest and most unique vendors gather together for Cooper Young Festival for art, music, crafts, and beer. It’s the most anticipated annual outdoor celebration that occurs each September. You can find anything from t-shirts, to metal sculptures, to bow ties for your dogs. This was its 32nd year, and as always, I just couldn’t wait to attend. Finally, September 18th rolled around and I headed out to check out each of the 435 tents hosted from artisans around the country. When I passed by a booth displaying dog collars and accessories, I knew I had to pick up some new staple bow ties for my pups. There were so many to choose from, so I dug in and began comparing sizes, patterns, and colors. I decided on the first one quickly- a warm, crisp bow tie with beer glasses! How Midtown is that? Here is Levi proudly displaying his new garment:
Next up, I had to find the perfect piece for Quincy. With fall right around the corner, I wanted something that would get us ready for the new season. I came across so many plaid bow ties, and spent probably way too long trying to decide between them all. I finally settled on a classy red and black plaid tie, which Quincy was greatly honored to wear:
They promptly ran around the house, excitedly showing off their new pieces. We can’t wait for Cooper Young Festival next year to add to our collection!
