Memphis Dog-Friendly Restaurants: Midtown

Memphis Dog-Friendly Restaurants: Midtown

Dec 06 2019

Romping around in one of Memphis’ local dog parks can work up quite an appetite. Luckily, there are many local and delicious Midtown Memphis Dog-friendly restaurants! I’ve put together a list of my favorite midtown restaurants to feed that post-playtime appetite.

Central BBQ

Craving something filling, savory, and maybe a little messy? Look no further! Central BBQ has some of the best BBQ in Memphis, and they have a large, dog-friendly patio located right out front. My personal favorite dish is their classic pork plate with a side of mac n’ cheese. Don’t forget a pint of local Memphis beer!

Slider Inn

After playtime, sometimes you just need a good burger. Or maybe 3! Slider Inn has a great selection of sliders, and a wonderful patio out front. Part of it is covered, so you and your pooch can find a comfortable spot whether you like the sun or the shade. They also have vegan options and lots of beer choices.

Young Avenue Deli

Young Avenue Deli is another Midtown classic restaurant. Their patio is small, but their extensive selection of beer makes up for it! They have delicious sandwiches, burgers, and wings, all that can be served with a side of fries – regular or sweet potato. Don’t forget Pint Night on Wednesdays when most pints are $3. Don’t get carried away though, you and your pup still need to make it home safely.

Muddy’s Bake Shop

Not quite hungry enough for a meal, but still not ready to go home? Grab a sweet treat from Muddy’s Bake Shop on one of the cutest patios Midtown has to offer. They have amazing cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and just about anything else you can think of, as well as specialty coffees and teas to help wash it down. They even provide some baked dog treats to keep your pup happy as well.
